6th sense
Sunday's event was a success. Yes, I helped out as a "waiter". It was quite a tiring job especially during the peak hours, where the bride and groom were present. And since my cousin is a teacher teaching at a nearby school, there were lots of her students who came for the reception. Yes, all the ah bengs and ah lians included. lol. Towards the end, after cutting the cake, my cousin made quite a touching speech, where she wept a little while expressing her gratitude towards her parents. =( I wish her all the best in her new life and wish her a blissful marriage!
I think I have to stop being a 'catalyst' for I have 'catalyzed' many unnecessary 'reactions'. Like a friend of mine said earlier that if I hadn't started it, all these things wouldn't have happened. But then again, it is stuffs like these that make like all the more interesting. haha. Oh well. Too late for regrets now.
Japan is having one of the worst natural disasters and nuclear crisis she had ever had. Let's all pray that everyone in Japan will pull through this adversity. Keep the faith. Things will get better, hopefully. My prayers are with them.
There's apparently an sms being circulated around regarding the danger of radioactive rain that is imminent in this country, as a result of Japan's nuclear meltdown. According to local experts, however, such occurrence is not likely cos it requires several other factors, such as a complete meltdown and continuous fire to happen before radioactive clouds can reach the country which is 5000km away from Japan. And apparently, according to local media, the sms originated from the Philippines. So, if you'd receive the sms, let's not forward it further to prevent unnecessary panic among the people.
I'm letting go..
