KL Holiday Part 1

Hiiiiii.. Yeah, i'm back from my KL trip.. HmMm, and since I have the time now, I shall update on my first day of the KL trip.

Day 1(0745-1000hrs)- Set off from Woodlands home at about 0745 and reached Larkin Terminal at JB at about 0915. Met my dad and boarded the coach. Was supposed to set off from there at 0930 but delyed till 1000 instead. Nothing unusual i guess coz its Malaysia! You hav to understand.. hahaaa..

Day 1(1000-1500hrs)- The whole journey took about 4 hours plus. Took some pictures while on an otherwise boring journey.

Day 1(1500-1700hrs)- Arrived at the Puduraya Terminal at KL and met my bro-in-law(He arrived a day earlier to do the neccesary registration thingy for the KL International Marathon which he was taking part). Then took an MRT/LRT to our Concorde hotel. Oh my, you won't believe how less advance the system there. Everytime an MRT/LRT pass by, you could feel 'tremors'.. haaaa... and the most low-tech thing is whenever you want to change from an MRT to and LRT or vice versa, you have to walk quite a long distance. AND you have to exit the station first before entering another station. This means that you have to buy another ticket from the ticketing counter if you wish to change from an MRT to an LRT. How troublesome and waste of money!! HmMm, I feel we should be very thankful for the MRT/LRT system we have here.. =PpP

Arrived at Concorde Hotel at about 1530. Thought we could just checked in coz we had booked the rooms. But guess wat? Was told that the rooms are still not ready yet!! And checked-ins are usually done at arnd 1400!! Hello?? So, had to go to my bro-in-law's room first. One of the rooms were only ready at about 1600 plus while the other room, we could only go in at 2100!! Yeah, that late!!(because of some staff problems which i would not go into details) How inefficient for a 4-star Hotel!!! Throughout the course of waiting, my sis kept going down to the lobby there, SCOLDING & COMPLAINING about their service, even in front of other tourists!! My sis very fierce okie! When at work, she could even talk back to Professors when they were wrong..lolx.. I guess when we checked out the next day, they must have been very relieved!! hahaaaa..

Day 1(1700-2130hrs)- While waiting for the other room to be ready, decided to went to go walk walk and shop. First stop was the Bukit Bintang Plaza. Had to ask pple to find the place.. hahaaa.. Took an MRT to a station which took no more than 15 mins. My sis, mum and dad while waiting for the 'wonderful' MRT to arrive.. hahaa.. My mum very the retro hor.. hahahaaThen hav to walk to reach the place. Aniway, the place there nthg much lah.. It's like Centrepoint, Wisma in Sg here.. The same goes to other shopping centres which we went after that.. After few hours of window shopping here and there, met up with bro-in-law(who did not followed us juz nw in order to rest for the marathon the next day) to have our dinner at KLCC. So, we took an MRT to get there.. Upon reaching, straight away went up to 4th floor where Asian Flavours is situated to have our dinner. Ate claypot chicken rice there..*Yum Yum* =PpP After the dinner, decided to walk back to hotel. Found out that the journey was not as near as initially thought... hahaa...

Day 1(2130-0100hrs)- And upon reaching the hotel, found out that the other room still cannot be accessed becoz of some stupid staff problem. Only managed to go into the other room at about 2145 after much complains from my sis... hahaaa.. Bathed, watch live soccer after that and retired at about 0100..

Okie, that's it for Day 1. Oh ya, ever wonder y there's no photos of mi? Because i was the one taking the photos and i oso camera shy mah.. hahaaa.. no lah, the ones that have mi inside them are in my dad's cam and the photos have not been developed yet.. Anyway, shall update on Day 2 where there is more incidents if i hav the time.. lolx.. Shall start preparing my presentations now.. CiaozZz!!


P.S.: Just a note. Found out that I had been selected to go for the overseas ITP next month to Melbourne!! YEAH!!! I Feel so excited and lucky!!! hahaaa.. My dream of doing my ITP in a U have came true!! =P Shall update on the details as time goes by..
