Rejuvenated

A chat with a colleague while taking the train home has somewhat given me a new perspective. For someone with a similar situation, he has somewhat open my eyes and as to how I should look at things. He reminded me that it's no use forcing another person to embrace something if their hearts are not willing. That is something which I used to believe in but had somehow been forgotten while trying to come to terms of my current situation. I'm thankful for this reminder today.

That being said, I'm happy for him that his story will end happily with a marriage this coming May.

Sometimes, you just need to talk to someone to gain insights and open up your hearts to look at things. I just had one of those today.

This next line have been said to me countless of times before. But somehow hearing it in person and from someone who had undergone a similar journey, the effect is stronger. "If it's fated, then it's fated. If its not meant to be, then well, so be it."
