Melbourne - Part 3(Phillip Island)

*YaWn* Slept for more than 8 hrs but still feeling tired and restless.. haiz, dunno why... Kk, shall continue my updates..

Trip to Melbourne - Part 3(Phillip Island)

On the fourth weekend, Prof Mariott brought all of us, along with his wife and two other RMIT students, to Phillip Island for 2 days, 2 nights stay.. It took abt 2-3 hrs of travel via van to reach the island.. We stayed in a house which the owner rented out to atachment sudents like us almost every year.. The exterior of the house may remind you of the kampong-like feelings but I can assure you the interior is definitely more than that.. There's 2 living rooms, 4 bed-rooms, 2 toilets, 2 bathrooms, a kitchen, fireplace and much more...lolx..

Had fish and chips for dinner en route to Phillip Island.. The fish, if you could see from the pic, is truly huge... haaa.. *burpzz* =PpP

On the first night, me and yong decided to explore the beach that is quite near our house.. haa.. We were later joined by samantha and jing wei.. It was really dark at night and you could practically see nthg if there's no torchlight or any form of light by your side.. lolx.. At the beach, we created words with the sand, find sea-shells in the freezing cold temperature... And as we walked and walked for a few hours, we sort of getting nearer to a bridge and we decided to go all the way to that bridge to catch the sunrise.. And yeah, we were practically shivering while walking towards the bridge.. Upon reaching the bridge, while waiting for the sunrise, we were constantly hiding behind each other everytime a vehicle past by... Yong would hide behind Sam while I hide behind yong and jing wei would hide behind me.. Haaa.. The funny scene still remains clearly in my mind.. Guess the drivers of the vehicles passing by must be wondering, "Why are these 4 idiots doing on the bridge in this freaking cold nite?" hahaa... It was really cold there and we found out later that the temp there was arnd 3 deg celcius... You could imagine how were feeling then!! -_-
Anyway, managed to 'tahan' the freezing cold temperature and catch the sunrise.. It was a beautiful experience.. From the first sign of light, to the emergence of the 'egg-yolk', it was a great sight!! =PpP After the sunrise, we made our way back to the house, which is abt an hr plus journey.. I even fell asleep while walking back.. Can you believe it? haaaa..

The route leading to the beach.. As you can see, it would be total darkness if not for the camera's flash..

Prof Mariott and wife.. Nice couple! =P
In the evening, we went to the penguin parade where we saw little penguins coming back from the sea to their borrows.. A great sight and a once in a lifetime experience although a little disappointed by their small size.. Another dissapointment was of course the "No photography allowed" rule that has been put in place.. sadzz.. Only managed to take pics at the souvenirs shop.. Anyway, after the parade, we made our way to back to have the BBQ.. Yum Yum, it was a delicious affair with Prof Mariott being our main Chef for the day... haaa...

The next day, we woke up quite early to continue our sightseeing.. As all of the sightseeings we previously had, we managed to catch great sceneries, with some breath-taking ones...lolx... We went to a beach and then trekked up the hills above.. Great views from the top.. Well, let the pictures do the talking ya... =D

Well, after the sightseeings, we made our way back to the house.. Then packed our stuffs, clean up the house before making our way back to our apartments in Melbourne City.. Haiz, kinda missed Phillip Island.. A lot of memories from there.. *sob* *sob*

That's it for this part of the updates-Trip to Phillip Island.. Shall continue next time...

-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Sidetracking from the updates, abt the fyp, yeah, we managed to get the project we wanted.. What's so amusing abt the balloting was that there were 4 grps balloting for the same proj and I(yes, ME!!.. haaa) picked the paper with the signature indicating that i get the proj.. How lucky is that!! Got our first choice somemore.. Guess i was lucky that day... hahaaa -_- Yupz, so our grp will be doing 'Body wash with Chempaka perfume' as or final year project.. Must try to do as gd as possible.. Jia you to me and my grp!!! hahaaa..

Anyway, while typing the updates for the Melbourne, memories of the things happened during the trip started to came back again.. Haiz, all those beautiful and great events that had happened.. How i wish we were still there to continue the 'memories'.. It has been so much different here back in Singapore.. It's not the same as that in Melbourne.. Sigh, sad.. sad... ~missing someone badly~
