Packed Weekend!!
*YaWn*.. haiz, so tired, juz woke up not long ago.. have been coming home past midnight for 2 consecutive nights.. but it has been a great weekend i would say.. haaa.. kkz, let mi update on wat happened on these past 2 days..
Friday~
After lessons ended quite early that day, me, yiting and min ru went to the general chemistry lab to start our final year projects(after 2 weeks of receiving the topic, nw then start sia..lolx). Yeah, so we were supposed to make this soap base .. Initially thot it would be a quick and easy process considering we were given the formulation and all we need to do is follow the procedures.. We were obviuosly wrong.. The whole process took about 2 1/2 hrs juz to prepare a less than 100ml of the soap base.. And furthermore, found out that our product is pretty watery(Where got body wash very watery one? hahaa). Realised the true meaning of the term 'a YEAR- long project'.. If we have succeeded juz by one try, then it would not require a lot of time rite? lolx.. Nvm, we shall work on it until we succeed!! HmMm, is the formulation given correct? I wonder.. =PpP
Anyway, received an sms from my sis asking me whether i would like to join her and my bro-in-law to catch the show 'Battlestar Galactica'.. She had two more extra free tix and i could ask one of my frens along.. After exchanging quite a few smses, i decided to join them since i was free anyway.. But i did not ask any of my frens along btw.. dunno who to ask lah...lolx.. So, after my fyp ended, i waited in sch for a couple of hours.. Departed from SP at abt 5.45 pm and headed to Orchard Cineleisure to catch that 7pm show.. When i arrived at level 6 of the building which is usually meant for previews, i was surprised that the free tix came together with a free popcorn and drink combo.. Was further surprised when i enter the cinema that there was a goodie bag on each seat(the bag has 2 posters, a notepad and a pen inside it).. So, since i did not bring anyone and i'm holding 2 tix, I had 2 popcorns, 2 drinks and 2 goodie bags!!! hahaa.. But come to tink of it, quite wasted actually.. shld have brought someone along..lolx.. Oh yeah, abt the show, it's not really a movie la.. It's a mini-series which will be broadcast on Starhub's cinemax or HBO starting this 2nd July.. So, we were like the firsts to watch it.. It's quite a gd movie i would say.. If u r a starhub's subscriber, i recommend you to watch it!! Oh, did i mentioned that the show was 4 hrs!! lolx.. Yeap, coz they showed the first 4 episodes(out of 6 i tink) to the series..
It ended at arnd 1145pm and we made our way to BK to have a quick bite before heading back..took a taxi to Marsiling for me first before it heads to Sembawang where my sis stays.. Thanx Sis!!! =P Reached my void-deck at abt 1245pm.. checked my letter box and noticed an envelope with the big letters 'AIG SE ASIA' printed on it.. It's the insurance company!! haaaa.. Yeah, they have given me a cheque after i submitted my claim abt 3 weeks ago.. For those who didn't know, I was sick when i was in Melbounre and had to see a doctor.. Initially, i was quite skeptical on the chances of me claiming back the amount incured for my medical expenses(you know how these insurance companies beating abt the bushes, delaying when it comes to claims). So, i was happy and relieved to 'get back' my $$.. Finally, i had some $$ to spent on..lolx..Anyway, speaking about the time i was sick there really reminds me those wonderful memories.. Manzz, i really missed the Green Bean Soup!!! sigh.. =PpP
Saturday~
Went to slp at abt 2 plus that friday night after surfing net for a while..lolx.. and woke up yesterday at abt 1oam.. went online after my bath and breakfast.. thot of wanting to continue on my Melbourne updates but there's something wrong with the photobucket =\.. So, surf the net with no directions while waited for my dad to come back to Sg.. He arrived in the afternoon and picked me and my mum first b4 picking sis and bro-in-law.. Yuppz, we gonna have a family meal outside, the first since i came back from Melbourne..lolx.. Destination? Seoul Garden at JP!! haaa.. Arrived there juz before their dinner time, so saved a few bucks on that.. -_- Straight after entering the premises, we went to the 'counters', picked up some food for us to cook and indulge.. hahaaa... Ate all the usual foods.. But i was waiting anxiously for the sushis to be served on the counters.. and it only appeared at abt 5 plus.. haaa.. Once it was put on the trays at the counters, i grabbed a plate and grabbed some of it(some, not all hor! =X). My sushi needs were finally met.. haaa.. *Yum* *Yum*.. we finished eating abt half an hr after 5 and went walking around JP for a while to ease our digestion(a usual routine after each Seoul Garden outing.. haaa).. Got separated from my family for a while when i went to Popular to get an album for my Melbourne photos.. We left JP juz before 6 and headed to Queensway S.C. coz bro-in-law wanted to buy soccer shorts..
My parents was quite suprised that the place had changed alot, partly becoz they had not been there for quite a few years.. They always said, they always used to frequent that place together with my sis when they were staying at that Bukit Merah area there...I wasn't born then of course, coz my present home in Marsiling is the one and only home i've stayed in.. -_- We went walking arnd Queensway, then reached this shop where i frequently went to buy my jerseys.. Then saw this pair of shoes, found it pretty nice.. asked my family abt it, no objections, and guess wat? i proceeded to buy it.. Though a new pair of shoes is of the items in my wishlist, tink the purchase of this shoes is more on impulse.. haaa.. my EQ very low lah, can't help it.. hopefully, i wun regret on it.. lolx..
Continue walking arnd again after my purchase and about 8 plus we decided to go home.. at this time, however, i departed from my family.. Had planned to meet my frens.. So, while my family drove off, i waited for a bus to go to dover.. Reaching dover mrt, was quite suprised at how serene and quiet it was during weekend nights.. looked pretty deserted with occasional commuters, a far cry from weekdays.. Waited for my frens and then took 106 to Holland V.. Initially thot of wanting to go to this place in Holland V where there's live music at the recommendation of my fren.. but found out we were underage.. lolx.. age requirement? 20!! haaa... so paiseh sia..lolx... Then decided to either go to Boat Quay or Clarke Quay.. At the toss of a coin, we proceeded to Clark Quay.. -_-... So took a train there and by this time, we had wasted quite a lot of time.. My friend was still angry at the age restriction, coz he got went in b4.. Nvm lah, wait next year lah hor... lolx..
So, over at Clarke Quay, we walked arnd first b4 going into this particular pub.. haaa.. first time i'm entering a pub in Sg..lolx.. My frens thot there got pretty girls to look at, as it's one of their objective of the nite, but unfortunately, there's not many around.. So, a night they thought could look at girls turned into watching soccer instead.. Yup, they were showing this live Brazil vs Germany match.. So, while my frens are indulging in their beer, i slurped on my fruit punch while watching the match..(sounds weird, i know.... haaaaa).. The match ended at juz b4 two and after a couple rounds of pool, we decided to catch a bus back.. Yeah, so waited quite a while for the Night Riders.. Then my frens' NR3 came first, leaving me alone waiting for my NR2..lolx.. but nvm, didn't have to wait that long after.. The journey took abt 40 mins... and i reached my house at abt 3.10 a.m. with my parents oready asleep... Open the door and went into my room quietly and fell onto my bed, feeling damn tired..lolx... Woke up at 11 juz nw but am still feeling shagged.. haha.. See lah, go back home very late somemore lor.. -_- Looks like i've become wilder and wilder by the day.. Has the short life in Melbourne came to influence me? Or maybe i've decided to enjoy life more? i dun noe... haaaa... i only know that the past 2 days has been great! =)
okies, still feeling tired while updating this actually.. shall take a nap after my lunch..still feeling a little dizzy.. haaa.. tata~!~! *YaWn*
