Reservist
To whoever that is still reading this blog, I hope you've been doing great!
I've just completed my 1st reservist cycle (aside from the IPPT this coming wednesday). The three tours I had with JW team 'C' was great! I've learnt alot of new things, gain valuable experience, had lots of fun and laughter and of course, get to meet a bunch of great people!! I had the 'privilege' to experience lots of interesting stuffs but because of certain restriction, I shall not state it here. Nevertheless, thanks to everyone who had made my stay in the team a comfortable one! Will miss you guys! 9 more cycles to go! haha
My TL and other team-mates gave me an advice before I left. That is basically, to 'open-up and be more outspoken'. Actually, this is nothing new. I got the same advice when I finished my NS in DHQ 'A'. In fact, I think whenever I leave a certain place, that same advice will be said to me. What does this show? That I've never learnt? Nah! On the contrary, I feel that I did changed. Maybe it's too small a change that people didn't notice it. And sometimes, when I did try to be more open, people don't appreciate it. Especially in NUS. Maybe it's the age gap, or the difference in mentality. God knows. But the bottom line is, whatever advices that have been given to me, rest assured that I have taken them seriously.
They say that life is a journey. So, thank you to all those who have guided me on which paths to take throughout this long journey.
