Luck (again)

Lo and behold my newest story book, a 1500+ pages 'sacred manual' which cost me 50 bucks!! Interesting huh?

The thickness of the book

Thickness as compared to a normal 600+ pages text book

I think this is the thickest book I've ever bought. Not to mention, the pain of my shoulders holding on, and standing all the way from NUS till I reached home, to the weight of the book which is easily more than my 2kg laptop! Let's hope it's worth the investment.

I've been getting a mixture of good and bad lucks these few days. But I feel that it's beginning to get better. Yes, my hope of freeing up my wednesdays has been lost due to my unable to secure my intended tutorial slots on monday. Because of that I've to come to school biweekly for 2 hour tutorials on wednesday. The bad feeling is also compounded because the wednesday pract slot for one of the modules was not opened to us and that we only knew about it at the very LAST MINUTE!!! This is curical because for most of the 200 plus of us, we are only able to make the wednesday slot. So the solution now, as proposed, is to bid for the tuesday one and miss 3 lectures due to the clash with a lecture of another module. It's still not over yet though, cos that stupid CORS do not let us bid for that tuesday slot due to the clash with the lecture. This shows how machines/technology cannot entirely replaced us humans! Stupid! If things didn't work out, a majority of us have to drop this core module and do this again a year later!!! And that is shitty!! I mean, how can they ensure that in future, it will not class with other core modules too?? Arrgghhhh, whatever lah!! I'm getting sick of these!

Nonetheless, I always believe "every dark cloud has a silver lining". I'm exposed to many new eye-candies this sem and that can only be good for me, in terms of the motivation I get! hahahaaa... And not forgetting the old ones too! Today has been a rather good day for me (minus the balloting thingy). I won't say what happened, but it always excites and makes me happy when these kinds of things happened! hehe.. After this sem, there's only 4 sems left. Something has to be done before I leave the uni! =)

Why is it so hard for me to turn around and say hi? So near, yet so far... But nvm, there're still many days to come.. hahaaa...

Till then, Ciao!
