A reminder to myself

As I walked along this lonely road, there are bound to be some trees along the way. Some of them will provide shelter for me, shielding me from the scorching sun. Some of these trees bear fruit. No matter how tempted I am, I shall not try to consume all the available fruits on them. I shall not be greedy, esp since such trees does not belong to me. It's already good enough that they have provided shelter for me and to expect them to give their fruits to me would be unreasonable. I must never take advantage of one's kindness and must never be greedy by wanting for more. I must try to stay afloat and not make the mistake of sinking into an emotional trap. I must be thankful and contented to have this tree sheltering me, and when the time comes, I will leave, being grateful of the tree that once sheltered me.. and continue this lonely journey.

Tomorrow is the team bonding day. No matter what happens, I must hide the sadness within me. I must be a good host, I must. Smiles I will, tears I shall not.
