Memories of the 12 apostles

A pile of rubble is all that remains after the collapse of one of the sea stacks at the "12 Apostles" off Victoria's south-west coast.

Around 9:00am (AEST), the 50 metre limestone pillar that stood off Victoria's south-west coast crumbled into the water.

In a matter of seconds, all that remained was rubble.

Stunned tourists took photos of the dramatic change in the landscape.

"Reports were it sort of shimmied or shuddered a bit, it fractured and sort of imploded in on itself and pretty much slid straight into the ocean," Alex Green from Parks Victoria said.

"So we've gone from a 50-metre sea stack down to a ten metre pile of rubble.

"We expect from reports of previous collapses like this that that pile of rubble will very quickly be eroded away by the ocean."

The collapse was part of the natural process that has shaped the popular tourist attraction for centuries.

But it leaves only eight of the 12 apostles still standing...

Haiz, when i first saw the news, my heart nearly sank.. =( for i have juz been to that place abt 2 months plus ago.. and now one of the apostles has gone..

Dunno why i became so emotional.. maybe becoz there were beautiful memories there.. Indeed there were, this is the place where you can find spectacular views, sceneries you can't find in Sg.. This was also the place when I started to..... (nvm, i shall not complete the sentence =X) Anyway, it's sad that there are only 8 apostles left standing now.. But that's life i guess.. Everything is unpredictable..

Talking abt unpredictable, received quite a shock juz now when I received the quiz paper for AIA.. Totally didn't expect the paper to be liddat.. We were onli inform that there would be True/False qns and 3 structure qns.. But then juz now the structure qns like so many sia.. arrgghh.. I dunno how well i would do, or rather, how badly i would do.. haiz.. then after that quiz, had an hr break and went to another quiz.. haa, tink this quiz oso will result in a similar outcome as the first quiz.. haiz.. i juz got to blame myself i guess.. Had planned to burn midnight oil yest' nite but dunno why, i fell aslp.. haiz, see lah, always last minute study.. -_- Anyway, i shall not dwell on wat's over.. Will juz hope for the best *pray hard* =)

Oh, just to add.. i have added a blog-link(or rather 2, if u considered weiting's) to my humble links.. She's Calyx.. Funny thing is, i dun really know who is she as we hadn't met b4 and the way she found my blog address is still a mystery..lolx.. But we can be considered blog-mates coz she have a blog too.
