Inspiration, Perspiration

Shocked, bewildered, amused... however, unsurprising. I know that's a contradicting statement but that's how I'm feeling now. There's no one to blame, though, except for myself. I'm responsible for the things that happened. If only I've moved my foot (even an inch) forward. If only....

Caught the partial solar eclipse yesterday and it was a magnificent thing to look at. You just couldn't help but be mesmerised by the work of nature that was going through right in front of your very eyes. Oh, to all my chinese friends, I wish you a very Happy and Prosperous Year of the Ox!

Currently, I'm adopting these two quotes as the source of my inspiration to succeed in my studies, and I hope in other aspects of my life too. Both are by Thomas Edison and the first have been edited a little:

Success is one percent inspiration and 99 percent perspiration

Many of life's failures are people who did not realize how close they were to success when they gave up

After much pondering, I realised the best way to succeed, if you're not a born-intelligent person, is through hard work. Hence, from now on, I shall strive to do my best in everything I do and at the same time, not procrastinate. I HAVE to work had, in a smart way of course, in order to achieve what I want, how and where I want to be in the future.
