Hectic Week

It's gonna be a hectic week ahead! In fact, I reckon every day will be hectic all they way up till my final exam paper! 3 reports to be handed next week, including 1 project that is due for submission. Another assignment is due to be given out soon too. And it's about 1 month to my first paper and I haven't even start any revision!! I know, I know, I'm dead!! To sum up, this is what I told my friend when we were talking about time-management earlier, "I never have time since I became an NUS student!"

Irritating! Boo!!

Anyway, to Ms Wong a.k.a. Belle, HaPpY 22nd BirThDaY!!! May all your wishes and dreams come true! Stay happy and no matter what, a belle will always be a belle! ;-)

Curse?

Something happened today that kinda worries me. The 'power' of imagining something that would happen, and then it actually happens, has come back to me. This thing in me started out when I was in secondary school. It especially happens when I'm in angry mood. I would think of something that would happen to a certain someone, and 'boom' it happens a few moments, few days or weeks later. And unfortunately, only bad outcomes will come true, not the good ones. So, it's more of like a 'curse'. Sometimes, I just hate myself, for it has happened to people close to me. And the feeling of regret and being responsible would fill me after each incident.

To those who think that all these things are due to me watching too much of Heroes, well, I doubt so. And whether you believe or not, it's entirely up to you. Or maybe they are just coincidences? Hmm, I certainly hope so. Cos they have been happening more frequently than they really should.

Life in school has been the same. The same amount of workload, the same amount of stress. Travelling everyday to school is becoming a bore too, except for maybe the same person I will see each morning! hehe.. Mid-term tests have not gone very well too. I just-passed one of my papers and I have mixed feelings for it. On one hand, I'm glad that I've passed. On the other hand, I felt that I should have done better. It seems my expectations for my studies have been lowered due to the intense competition. And sadly, this is in the wrong direction. My project have not been smooth sailing too. It's due in a fortninght, but we have barely started the whole thingy. I can't wait for all these to complete so I'll have less things to worry.

That's it for now, till next time. Ciao!

Ouch!

Over the weekend, I have been eating and eating, while visiting houses for raya, and also while at home. But the frustrating part is, I am not gaining any weight!!!! In fact, I seemed to be losing the kilos! Argghh, how irritating!!!

Yesterday night, when there were visitors to my house, I accidentally kicked against one of the walls. At first, I didn't thought much about it and just continued walking. After a while, one of my cousin asked me, "Is that blood (pointing to my toe)?" I looked at my right and oh shit, my middle toe was bleeding and I have unconsciously left some blood stains on the floor! How embarrassing! The funny part though, was that I didn't feel any pain and there wasn't any indication that my toe was bleeding until I was told so. It feels as if I was Claire Bennet from Heroes, except that the wound did not heal itself immediately.. hahaa

This week is another hectic week, like the last. One more test coming up this Wednesday and a formal report is due this Friday. These are on top of my IT project, tutorials and other revisions. Sometimes, I wish I had chosen the JC route when I finished my O'levels. From what I notice, life would have been far more easier now if I had chosen that path. Because, minus the foreign students, life in the uni is like a competition between those from JC and those from the polytechnic. And which of these two groups would have an advantage? The answer is obvious.

That being said, I cherished the 3 years I've had in SP. The fun times spent together, skipping lecture/tutorials.. hahaa! And the one date, 30th July, that has left a scar in my heart, which I won't forget. And though there are occasional stress, the intensity is far less than present!

How I wish I'm still in that stage of my education so that I can appreciate my time more there! lol

Oh, these few days, I suddenly missed being a man-in-blue too! hahaaa..

I can't take it anymore (edited)

There's just so many things to do, with very little time left.

I just feel like giving up. I seriously do.

Whatever happens, even if I fail, life still has to go on. It's time to adopt the
heck-care attitude!

Salam Lebaran 2008!

First of all, let me wish all my muslim friends, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri! Maaf Zahir dan Batin! My sincere apologies for any wrongdoings I've done to you ya. Pls forgive me. Minal aidil walfaizin.

I'm so so tired now. Slept around 1plus yesterday night, woke up at about 6am for prayers. After prayers, went to the cemetry at Lim Chu Kang there. Came back, did some washing up and off we went to my eldest aunt's house in Yew Tee. Stayed there for about 3 hours before going to another relative's abode in Bukit Batok. And we just came back from there not long ago.

A couple of hours left and the day will end. It would also mean that my 1 day celebration has ended and it's time to go back to my stressful studying life! Arrggghhhh!! Hate it!!

All right, my eyes are like self-closing now. Will update again when I have the time. Oh, before I forget, the colour-theme for my family this year was Turquoise!! haha...

--------------------------------------------------------------------

Each time Hari raya comes, I'll always experience the same feeling each year. That I'm a bad cousin to all my other cousins and a bad uncle to all my nieces and nephews. And it's mainly my own fault. Haiz...
