30th July has arrived again..

Bear with me, this will be quite a long post.. But first thing's first..

It's 30th of July today, so there are a couple of anniversaries to be mentioned here. Firstly, HaPpY 2nd Anniversary to my obtaining the Class 3 license!! Whenever this date is near, I always have the urge to drive.. But no car, how to drive?!?! Argghhh!!! It looks like my wish of driving a car at least once before I enlist will never come true.. haiz..

30th July also marks the day my heart was severely broken into tiny pieces. It was a 'great' experience to taste the feeling of 'heartbroken' for the first time in my life. Although my heart had slowly formed back to its original structure, the scars will forever be there. And though it has been 3 years now, I can't help but reflect on the whole bad experience after each year passes. Those who are close to me and my EIC lecturer (coz I wrote about it as one of the essays) will know what I'm talking about. I'm not clinging on the past but I just can't help it but feel sad whenever this day arrived. Haiz..

Anyway, today was great! haha.. Why? Because I worked today!! Yeah, u saw it right, I worked!!! But only for one day only.. lol.. The job was 'intro-ed' by Zhenyang. There's this event, a culinary competition cum Gala Dinner organised by RAS or something at Swissotel, and I'm supposed to dress up with my traditional clothes and serve the guests with some malay delicacies. Very interesting job as I found out. Furthermore, my job only requires around 1 1/2 hours of my time. hehe. Get to see alot of VIPs and bigshot people from the food industry(I believe). There were also celebrities like Moses Lim, who was also one of the judges, and Eileen Wee! Though they are not those A-list celebrities, but fwah, I can't believe I was standing next to them.. hohoho.. Oh ya, one of my fellow 'colleagues' who is a Eurasian serving delicacies like me, commented that my clothes is nice! haha.. And she is pretty too, togther with another colleague who was wearing her cheongsam! Waaahhh, I have always like to admire ladies wearing cheongsams! Oops.. hehe.. Oh yeah, one of the guest whom I was giving the delicacies thanked me and followed by, "You're cute!" Alamak, I was speechless for a moment before thanking her.. hahaa.. Haiz, too bad this is just a one-off event.. How I wish it can be a weekly one, not because of the $$, but I found it quite fun and interesting to serve and mingle with people.. But my mouth is tired now, because I was told by one of my pretty female in-charge to smile and enjoy myself!! Wahh, how often you get supervisors like that! Arrgghh, I want more of such events!!! hahahaa..

Anyway, went to Zhi Yong's birthday celebration at his house yesterday! Get to meet the usual friends there. And we were caught up in playing the PS & PSP that we almost forgot to go home. Departed at about 1030pm or so. Hope he like the presents we gave him, especially the *ahem* one.. =P Oh ya, I want to thank Zhi Yong and his parents for ordering the pizzas specially for me, knowing I can't eat the catered food. Sometimes I wonder though, am I a liability to those around me? Hmmm.. And even if most of the time people do not show their expression clearly, I do feel really bad.. Haiz...

P.S. : While walking around JP yesterday, I saw two familiar faces. One of which was my former supervisor from United Square's Toys"r"us. I presume she had been transfered there. But I wasn't happy or what to see her, coz seeing her face reminded me of all the scoldings and vulgarities I got from her even though I wasn't directly working for Toys"r"us then. Sucks man, when I think back. I gave her a cold stare as I walked past and I think she noticed it.. hahaa.. Anyway, one more person whom I saw was this pretty saleswoman who served me while I was buying this present for my friend at Wisma Atria. I wrote about her on a post about a month back. We walked past each other and I looked at her while she looked at me. I think she did have some memory of seeing me too. haha. But she was walking so fast that I didn't manage to say Hi or what.. Wasted -_-

----------------------------------------------------

It took me a couple of days to think about a particular thing.. But it took me just a few minutes to make a decision, thanks to what happened yesterday..

Seeing is believing?

What happens when one day, you realised that nobody believes you anymore? The boy-who-cried-wolf story would instantly come to mind.

Recently, I realised that more people around me do not take me seriously or believe me anymore. It's kinda sad. I guess this had to do with my transformation from a quiet person to an always-joking person that people began to misunderstand my intentions. I don't have anyone to blame for except myself coz I think I''ve failed to balance the time to be serious and the time for jokes. And it really is sadenning when you are having genuine feelings but people take it as a joke. Haiz, I think I need to change again. If not, I would just be like that boy with nobody believing me. Sigh.

Anyway, did I tell you that "Memories of Midnight" by Sidney Sheldon rocks? hahaa.. Oh god, it definitely is!!! lolx.. Damn thrilling and intriguing, with the twists(expected of Sidney).. Oh man, I just love this type of novels! I seriously recommend those who have the time to go read this book. It's definitely worth your time! Next book, I supposed I'll go for "The Other Side of Midnight".. Oh no, I'm reading backwards!! hahaaa..

Ciaoz!

Dashed

I thought today will be a great day. Well, it did started out as one. But as the dawn turned to dusk, suddenly all my hopes were dashed with a recollection of my past, a sudden realisation of my present state and future destiny. Why do things have to turn out this way? sigh..

I'm thinking of living in seclusion for a few days..

I'm so old

An amusing thing happened earlier in the day. I was walking along the corridor carrying Alya, trying to make her sleep. Then, I started to sing my present blog's song(having some hangover fro yesterday's k-session..lolx). And guess what? She really did fell asleep!! haha.. I didn't realise my rendition of 25 minutes can be a lullaby song for her.. hehe.. Or another possibility is, maybe she slept to escape hearing my awful singing.. oops =X

On another matter, I realised I'm growing old. The sad realisation happened not when my age digits no longer has the '1' in front on it. Neither has it occurred because I'm enlisting soon nor the fact that I've just become an uncle. I realised I've become old when my younger cousins, whom also were my childhood friends, start to kiss my hand when they shook it during each meet. Oh my, fandi is old now. haiz.

P.S.: I'm contemplating on whether I should extract out my upper wisdom tooth or not. But I'm scared if I pluck it out, I will no longer be wise. =P

Sing and sing ah!!!

Phew, so tired man. Just reached home not long ago at around 10 plus. Reason? Coz I went 'k-boxing' just now with Sam and Ting ting!! Shiok!! hahaa.. Went to the outlet near parkway parade.. Today's session was not bad.. Sang more songs than usual and the songs include come children songs like 'London bridge is falling down' and 'Row, row, row your boat'!! It's hilarious now when I think about it.. hahahaa.. Singing songs I never sang before, this has to be the best session so far for me! hehe.. Sang for about 4 hrs plus till abt 6 plus, then we got separated -- me going home, Sam going to give tuition, Ting going to chalet. The reason for reaching home this late is because I went to my marsiling home first to collect letters(which include my posted grad photos..lolx) and some things from the house..

Haiz, feeling very tired now.. My left knee still having some pain and my weariness in chatting until 5 am (Yeah 5am!! can u believe it? I can't.. lol) with Ting the other day still hadn't worn off yet.. I'm in need of a nice beautiful sleep!! -_-

As you might have noticed, my blog song is back! It's playing MLTR's 25 minutes. It's an old song but recently I've fallen back in love with it after singing it at PartyWorld. hehe. ANyway, the 'story' behind the song is rather meaningful. Sometimes I wonder whether my life will result in a similar outcome. It may well be, if I didn't change. Hmmm..

Anyway, this blog might go password-protected soon to prevent certain people from viewing it. My posts has become quite personal lately and I'm thinking of keeping them as such - personal. I know it's not that 'secure' but that's the least I could do I guess. And of course, it helps me to keep out from those anonymous/silent readers out there. haha. I'll inform the relevant readers if and when the visit-via-password-only is put in place. If you're reading this and next time found out that I didn't give you any password, you can contact me if you're still so keen in reading my posts. =)

Hesitant

Have been thinking hard lately. There's this friend of mine that I haven't seen for quite a while. Some time ago, we had planned that one day we will meet up again. And I was really looking forward for it. But recently when the day has finally came, I suddenly become hesitant. And I don't know what the hell is wrong with me. Don't know what's stopping me, don't know why I had a sudden change of mind. Haiz, talking about enthusiasm. =(

Anyway, I was laying down listening to the radio yesterday night, when the news section came on. Got quite a shock when the presenter said that this popular local malay comedian had passed away in the morning. It's quite surprising cos he's not that old yet (he's 50 years old). It's a sad day for the local entertainment industry, a great loss to the malay community. But I guess our life can be so fragile, there's no way in telling when our time is up. Sigh.

To prevent this post to be an all-sad one, I had a dream yesterday night. Or rather dreamS. One of the dream was that I was admitted to hospital because of something and later, the doc diagnosed me with 'something-phobia'(can't remember the exact medical term). But the thing is, I can't climb over things that is more than 1 metre or so anymore. And the only thing on my mind then was that I got a chance to downgrade for my pes status. haha.

The second dream was more funny. Got contacted by some close friends of mine to meet up to discuss some things. The strage thing is that one of them asked me to bring my Garfield along. I was thinking- huh, for what? - when I got awoken by my mum. haha. Strange things do happen sometimes. =P

---------------------------------------------------------------

It happened again! I guess some people will never learn the art of appreciation after all. Whatever!

Graduate Class of DCP 3B/05

A bit bored for the last few days, so I made this. It's a compilation of the class' few seconds on stage. Though we aren't together anymore, I do hope the memory still lives on.

You can view it at here if you can't watch it through this blog. =)

P.S: For those with slow internet connection, pause the video and wait for it to load fully first before playing. And turn on the volume for maximum effect. And this is why I have to disable the blog music temporarily..lolx

--------------------------------------------------------

Did some thinking the past night. I realised that some things will never be mine no matter how I tried to have them. I can have many many fantasies but ultimately, it seems fated that certain things will never be in my possesion in this lifetime. And that's kinda depressing.

Anyway, throughout these few days, unintentionally, I began to find out who are those whom appreciate my effort and what I've done and who did not. It really gives me the idea on who will be in my 'good list' and who will be in my 'bad list'. To those who are in my good list, gd for you! And to those who are in other list, I'm sorry to say, you've sealed your own fate.=)

Graduation Day

Hmm, abit tired after going to my niece(not Alya)'s birthday celebration just now. But since I have a bit of time now, I shall update about the Graduation Day.

Well our graduation ceremony was held on Wednesday, the 5th July, at the SP Convention Centre. Being a typical kiasu singaporean, I arrived early with my parents. But what I didn't expect was that we were the first 'customers' to go in. haha. Actually we went to the convention centre via the bottom entrance then we took the escalator to the top level. When we wanted to enter the centre, we got stopped by the officials there. And somemore got 'thrown' out to outside the entrance. LOL. But after about 1 minute, we were told we can come in already. And there we were, I being the first graduand and my parents being the first guests, entering the convention centre. hehe.

I think I have to wait for around 1 hr plus coz the academic people only arrived at about 9.30. Luckily there're funny friends beside me though and we keep commenting on the girls who have become more beautiful now since the last we saw of them. haha. The first part of the ceremony was a bore with all the speeches. Nearly fall asleep listening to them.-_- The presentation of the diplomas proceeeds after that. My turn to take the scroll was around 10 plus i tink. Through the webcast available at SP, I realised I didn't smile while approaching the director to receive the award. Damn man! hahaa. Anyway, it was a great 10 second on stage I guess. Great as in there are no falls or other unfortunate incidents. hahaha. Towards the end of the presentation, saw all those award receipients. *So envy* LOL.

After the ceremony, everyone was ushered towards the reception area. Didn't feel like eating though, so went around trying to meet some friends and most importantly take photos. Loitered around for a bit before going to Orchard to do some karaoke session with some of my friends and classmates. Oh ya, my parents left after eating. We went to partyworld beside the Heeren. Sang some songs there, all english except for one. Not bad lah, at least my 11 bucks was quite worth it that day. haha. After singing for about 3 hr plus or so, me, Sam and Min went to Heeren to take some NP(in our formal attire!!!) before catching a bite at cineleisure. We then proceed home after that. Oh, before that, at outside Cineleisure, there's some promotion about Red Bull. I was like staring at one of the promoters, and to my surprise, I think she caught me staring and then approached me!! lol.. After some talking and promoting, she gave me this complimentary can of drink. So lucky man! And just at the right time, coz I was thirsty then. haha.

Reached home at abt 8 and ate somemore coz my mum ordered pizzas from Pizza Hut! Wah, so full that day! hehe. Ok, that's it for that day I guess. Here are the photos taken that day.

AnDy is Sick

Whole body aching with bruises, head spinning like a ceiling fan, I'm feeling so immobilised. It's a bad timing to be sick. Damn!

3 more days to grad day and my skin now looks as if I've been sun-tanning in the Sahara Desert. So 'chao-da'!! Shitzz!
